We are excited to introduce the new Reform Mishkan HaNefesh: Machzor for the Days of Awe, to B’nai Harim this fall. After nearly 50 years of using the beloved previous High Holy Day prayer book, Gates of Repentance, most congregations have transitioned to Mishkan HaNefesh which reflects contemporary worship style. Mishkan HaNefesh, a two-volume set, keeps traditional liturgy while adding contemporary prayers and poetry. It invites users to adopt modern music while incorporating beloved compositions from previous generations. It feels both new and familiar at the same time.
